IT support that prevents problems, not just fixes them
When systems are unreliable, support is slow or the same fault keeps coming back, your people lose time and projects slip. Our managed IT support is designed so that fewer things go wrong.
We monitor every server, laptop and network device, around the clock on Gold and Platinum. Updates are applied on schedule, and our engineers are alerted to warning signs such as a failing disk, a full mailbox or a suspicious login before your team notices. When someone does need help, they reach a Glasgow-based engineer who knows your setup, not a call centre.
What's included in our managed IT support?

Client example
A Central Scotland building firm, around 160 staff. When the firm moved to Indigo, its devices weren't centrally managed, its site cabins had no reliable connection and its Azure servers were on pay-as-you-go pricing. We brought every device under Microsoft Intune, connected sites with Starlink and Cato Networks SD-WAN, and moved the Azure servers to reserved instances (a lower price for committing in advance) to cut running costs. The firm has since achieved Cyber Essentials Plus. IT support for construction →

Frequently asked questions
What is managed IT support?
Managed IT support means a provider looks after your IT for a fixed monthly fee instead of charging each time something breaks. At Indigo, that covers the helpdesk, monitoring, patching, endpoint security, Microsoft 365 management, backup and regular technology reviews. Because we're paid to keep systems working, preventing problems is in our interest.
How much does managed IT support cost?
Managed IT support is usually priced per user per month and depends on the level of cover, security and hours you need. Indigo offers four packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum and a Charity package). A free technology assessment gives you a fixed monthly quote for your business.
Do you provide on-site IT support?
Yes. Most issues are fixed remotely, which is fastest, but our engineers visit when hardware, networks or site setups need hands-on work. We're based at Glasgow Business Park and in Livingston, and we cover Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Central Belt and the rest of Scotland.
Can you take over from our current IT provider?
Yes. We manage the handover: we collect passwords and documentation, deploy our monitoring and security tools, and deal with your old provider directly. Most businesses are fully onboarded in about two weeks, and your staff can use our helpdesk from the first day. How switching to Indigo works →
Is cyber security included?
Yes. Every package includes protection against viruses and ransomware (endpoint detection and response), INKY email security, patching, Microsoft 365 security settings and backup. We can also take you through Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Indigo is itself certified to Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001:2022.
Do you support Microsoft 365?
Yes. We manage Microsoft 365 users, licences, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and security settings, and we back up Microsoft 365 data separately. Indigo is a Microsoft Solutions Partner and has completed more than 100 Microsoft 365 migrations.
